HFT VPS

The HFT VPS project started in October 2014 as an experiment in response to one of our client’s requests; their strategy required lower latency than they could achieve on any dedicated servers and VPSs found on the market. The task was not easy because the virtualization layer causes additional latency compared to the dedicated servers, where such a layer does not exist. Thanks to careful design, fine-tuning and low latency components, the HFT VPS in the latency race, can easily beat even the pricier dedicated servers. Wherever we could, we cut the latency… even the network cables were shortened to the minimum possible lengths to save distance latency. We use SSD and a 4 GHz clock frequency CPU. The three packages have the same components with different size resources.

Premium Packages

Premium VPS is our second generation of virtual servers, which we proudly launched in April 2015. We created this machine in response to continuous requests from our clients to further reduce latency.  We introduced the use of SSD, which is directly installed into the servers and not separated into a storage tray. The servers use a 10 Gb/sec ASIC low latency network cards with TCP/IP offload engines. On the Premium VPS we use a Tier1 virtualization, which is faster than the most commonly used Tier2 systems. On the main servers, we strictly limit the number of VPSs to make sure that the CPU is not overstretched. Actually, on Premium servers, we generate approximately only half of the number of VPS that we could from a resource perspective. This is to ensure that, despite the costs incurred in not fitting in the maximum number, we provide an excellent and high speed VPS. We are delighted to have received feedback from fellow traders, that with Premium VPS, we have given them an excellent tool for fast trading.
